Dad’s the word!

Posted on: February 2nd, 2012 by admin No Comments

It seemed like yesterday that we were photographing Katie and Warren’s wedding at Horsley Towers … but that was in 2008, and now they have a beautiful daughter Amber.  Katie had some lovely photographs with her daughter, but we wanted to share dad’s special moments with you!

You’ve been framed!

Here is the beautiful photograph we have created for Andrea and Colin with their gorgeous daughter Isabelle.  We covered their wedding in September 2001, at Gatwick Manor in Crawley, and it is wonderful seeing them again and photographing their lovely family.  I’m sure their frame will take pride of place in their home!

Ssh, this is a great idea!

Look, if you tell anyone, I'm gonna have to put you away!

No, not us gov', it was the one in the mask!

LOVELY TO SEE YOU AGAIN!

It is always so great to see our wedding couples come back when they have a new addition to the family!  We covered Carmen and Tristan’s wedding at Stanhill Court Hotel, and the following day in China Town – both days were so much fun and really exciting and different.  We did some lovely photographs just before Christmas …

“Thanks again for the photos.  Tristan loved them, as do I.  Madison kept smiling when I got the photos out to show her at home.  The canvas picture is already up above our fire place.  Tristan has never been so quick to do a bit of DIY!  My mother in law has seen the picture and loves it and I can’t wait until we show her the pictures properly at Christmas.

Thanks again for looking after us so well.  Hope to see you again soon.

Have a wonderful Christmas and fabulous 2012.

King regards

Carmen

Claire and Scott were married at St Mary’s in Horsham, and afterwards had their reception in the beautiful barn at Hurtwood Polo Club, where Gemma Kidd frequents.  Despite running our of light because of the time of year (5 November), they still managed to have some beautiful photographs taken at the venue, and sent us the following email …

Hi Alison

I hope you and Steve are well.  Mr and Scott are back from honeymoon now and had an amazing time!

Thank you so much for being part of our special day.  We really appreciated you making us feel relaxed on the day and we are really pleased with all our photos.

We want to get our thank you cards sorted so we can send them with our Christmas cards.  We want to get them printed with one of our photos on the front, and as we don’t have the CD yet, please can you email me just picture 299 with is me and Scott in the entrance.

Thanks

Claire

It was fantastic covering Emma and Gary’s wedding at Upwaltham Barns on 17 December … and appropriately they chose a Winter Wonderland theme which looked AMAZING!  There were long icicles hanging from beautiful white twig table centre pieces, snowflake name tags in crystal holders, a beautiful white wedding cake surrounded by snow, and a glorious white chocolate fountain … no detail had been overlooked!  We also provided our Photo Booth and guests had a great time dressing up – some photos below.

“We just wanted to say thank you very much for all your help and hard work with the wedding photographs. The photo booth was a fantastic surprise and everyone enjoyed it saying what a great idea it was.  We had an amazing day.  Thank you”

Thank you to Stephanie and John who treated us to their wedding breakfast at The Chichester Park Hotel.  The food was amazing, as was the service given by the staff.  We were lucky to get some photographs outside (the wild flower garden looked lovely and blended in well with their purple theme).  During the meal the skies opened, but afterwards there was a gorgeous rainbow … how lucky is that on your wedding day!

Stephanie’s mother made all the bouquets, buttonholes and floral displays, which looked amazing!
